Endowment

It’s easy to see the impact one gesture can make. Helping someone walk again, providing a ride to a patient in need or empowering a child to take control of his or her diabetes can have a positive influence in our community and help improve the lives of those we serve. To make sure these vital services continue to be available, the INHS Foundation created an endowment fund to build financial resources for the future.

An endowment fund is like a savings account. A portion of the interest generated by the principal investment provides a permanent source of funds to support the programs of INHS including Camp Fun in the Sun, Northwest MedStar, St. Luke's Rehabilitation Institute and Team St. Luke's. The remainder of the interest is reinvested in the endowment. Since the principal funds are never spent, the endowment creates financial stability, allowing INHS to be less dependent on unpredictable sources of revenue.

INHS endowment funds are professionally invested and managed. Your support of the endowment will create long-term resources for our organization and the lives we touch every day.
